If you`ve been looking through all these job postings and can`t believe how boring they all sound, then you`re in luck!
We have an opportunity to be part of a fast growing company here in Chelsea. We`re a small three person team so we`re looking for someone who has TONS of energy and loves to bs on the phone with our customers. They love that! In an age where customers are treated like numbers, we strive to be different. Sometimes just talking to them about their grandkids for a few minutes results in a big order.
Anyway, this job encompasses lots of things. You might need to answer the phone, send out e-mails, follow up with existing customers, handle customer service, send out promotional materials, research new potential products, learn how to use cool marketing software and teach it to me, organize our filing system (I`m trying but I need major help), work independantly on new projects, etc. Yes, it`s a lot of stuff but here`s the deal. We`re small but we have big plans. Help us grow and you`ll grow with us. I know that sounds really cliche but it`s true.
We sell personalized items for kids and we help other people start their own businesses selling our software. We have dealers in every state and I just closed a deal for Malasyia, Singapore and Australia, so we`re on the verge of something big. Our dealers are awesome, mostly retired folks or single or stay at home moms looking to make extra money.
I`m the president of the company and you`ll be working about 5 feet away from me. So when you run out to lunch I`ll be doing your job and when I go out, don`t be surprised if you`re doing my job. It`s that kind of office.

Naturally, I will be spending lots of energy and time teaching you things, from sales and marketing to business development so I want you to be with us for many, many years.
Right now we have a small office on 27th street between 6th and 7th. It`s a nice modern building and we have three huge windows that look onto the street.
We can`t pay you a million dollars yet, but having you as part of our team will benefit the company almost immediately. So expect a raise very soon and more to follow as the company grows. Expect a bonus at the end of the year as well. Remember, this is a small company and we want to do everything to make you happy. And speaking of happy, we also have Blue Cross and Shield health insurance that kicks in within 90 days. There`s no dental plan but my uncle is a dentist (in Jersey) and he`ll give you a good deal. Besides, there`s a toolbox with a set of pliers here so if a tooth is bothering you, let me know and I`ll yank it out for you.
